Eastern Accents, in 1989 Ridvan and Siw Tatargil, an adventurous husband and wife team, started this company manufacturing “killim” pillows in their 3,000-foot loft in Chicago with only one designer and two sewers. Their vision was to use gorgeous textiles in creating home accessories with superior craftsmanship and exceptional quality.
They expanded their product line in 1994 with the introduction of three bedding collections, and business has flourished ever since. Today, they operate out of a 230,000-square foot facility located in the heart of Chicago with over 300 employees – including an experienced sewing staff, artisans, and highly skilled craftsmen. In-house departments such as product design, graphics, the custom workroom, and their own photo studio give them complete control of the creative process for all their products and it shows!
Today, they are a unique wholesale bedding and accessory company offering products that reflect the style and diversity of the home decor industry. They also proud to feature private label projects such as Barclay Butera, Thom Filcia, Scalamandre Bedding, Marquise, Niche, De Medici, and Studio 773.
