We are proud to represent Curry & Company!

Santa Barbara Design Center is proud to be the exclusive carrier of Curry & Company on the Central Coast. Currey & Company is known today for its vibrant collection of lighting products.  They began as a historic garden furnishing company in 1988.  These collections were joined by an American collection of garden accessories, birdhouses and rustic twig furniture, with only some lighting products.  By the early 1990’s the lighting category had become their number one line. Accordingly, the name of the company was changed to Currey & Company to embrace a new focus on products for the interior. Chandeliers, lamps and wall sconces today form a significant part of the company’s business and these goods are characterized by the attention and detailing that goes into their manufacturing and finishing.

Sadler wall sconce
The Sadler Wall Sconce reflects superb workmanship and attention to detail with a pristine Nickel plated base and a tailored White Linen shade. The Lillian August Collection.
Chanteuse wall sconce
Exuding grace and dignity, the Chanteuse Wall Sconce is a rich addition to corridors, powder rooms, and other small spaces. Wrought iron with a superb Silver Granello finish balances the frosted glass beads that comprise the lush swags of this charming fixture. Certified for damp location.

Gracemount chandelier
Like a rainstorm moving across the plains, sheets of frosted glass beads shower down from a gently curving arc. A slender wrought iron frame with a shimmering Contemporary Silver Leaf finish complements the beaded strands in the Gracemount Rectangular Chandelier, resulting in a shapely and opulent lighting fixture.

Hand forged iron products have long been the specialty of the company, but the range of materials has been extended to include a variety of materials such as hand-carved wood, porcelain and brass. “Currey International” has made it possible for the company to develop and produce a variety of unique hand made products and materials. One of these is concrete hand formed to create fashionable furnishings of “faux bois.” Seashells and other natural materials also figure strongly in the Currey & Company product line.

Karma chandelier
Vibrant tones of crimson and Russet color the infinite glass beads of the hand-strung Karma Pendant, a fantastic testament to Currey and Company’s commitment to meticulous artistry utilizing the highest quality materials.
Hannah chandelier
European Traditional, reinvented. This version of the Hannah Chandelier is a spectacular new take on a traditional design that shines in large spaces. Hand-carved accents, evocative of turned wood, are enhanced by a unique Stockholm White finish, while the Rust-colored wrought iron arms complement beautifully.
Antibes chandelier
Painstakingly woven using traditional techniques, the Antibes Chandelier is an impeccable marriage of artistry and quality construction. Natural rattan forms the body of this geometric chandelier, supported by a Khaki wrought iron frame. This piece adds just a touch of worldly flavor into contemporary interiors.
Hamish table lamp
Inspired by the audacious mid-century aesthetic of Italian designers, the Hamish Table Lamp is at once a throwback piece and a unique contemporary vision. Contrasting Black and White stripes hug the cylindrical Ceramic body, set off by Satin Brass bands and a clean Off White Shantung shade.
Farrington tall table lamp
A magnificent lamp carved from pure Alabaster, the Farrington Table Lamp is a timeless piece with an ease of style made in quality materials. This weighty table lamp is impressive in size and features a Cream Silk shade which accentuates the natural colors of the Alabaster. The Lillian August Collection.
