Santa Barbara Design Center welcomes our new linen store Colomba Living to our location. We held a grand opening wine and cheese “meet and greet” and wanted to thank all that participated and joined us to celebrate our latest collection to our showroom.

We would also like to thank Mila Junge and her mother Marcela Hernandez for coming all the way from Chile for the Grand Opening. Marcela is the founder and creator of this luxurious line of sublime linens. She started out in 1982 by opening her first shop “Colomba” in Santiago, Chile with a contemporary line of women’s clothing which was characterized by the high quality natural fibers and precious textures. In 1995 she expanded the line to home textiles. Marcela’s passion for these natural fibers and her exploration with the treatments and colors – lead her company to concentrated on linens and a lifestyle! Et Voila her extravagant linen lines were developed.

Colomba Living today offers an amazing selection of linens for bed, bath, table, clothing and home accessories. Santa Barbara Design Center opened its doors to her line of handloom throws, embroidered pillows, silkscreen prints, and her collection of linen styles to choose from.
Marcela’s Philosophy is that they are committed to quality and excellence by creating products with natural fibers because not only do they feel good but also are a healthy option and sustainable for the environment!
